As we gear up to a night of revelry welcoming in the new year and bidding farewell to the old, cialis I thought I’d write a quick outline of some of the challenges facing a video production company on a location shoot. Apart from the video equipment, audio recording equipment and accessories, a video production on location has to have everthing needed for the shoot. Imagine carting all the video production gear and personnel to some best place to buy clonazepam online far-flung corner of the county only to discover that you’ve forgotten a crucial piece of prop. Now imagine this video production is a major feature film and the far flung place is in a different hemisphere. Well, I was just reading the excellent blog at http://news.doddleme.com/news-room/new-hobbit-production-video-shows-captures-cast-and-crew/comment-page-1/#comment-401 and came across this great video. Basically, the director of The Hobit had gone and done my blog for me in video format. This really is worth a look....

Music production and other little tasks

You wouldn’t think Christmas was around the corner with how busy we’ve been this week; on top of our work in the voice over studio, remedy we’ve been working on some music production today as well. We’ve had an artist recording some vocals to accompany a music video and it has been pretty easy work – she nailed it perfectly in the booth so we haven’t had to do much tweaking to do, just ensuring the sound quality is good. We had a bit of a fight with a snare drum that was dominating the track there for a moment or two but we just about managed to beat it (as it were)…. Unlike many video production companies, music is an integral part of the Nostairway service – if we’ve worked buy klonopin from canada hard at a video, or been commissioned to make music for a video someone else has worked hard at, then we reckon it deserves better than the first half-appropriate library track we could find. A video production is about the complete audio-visual package and videos need the right music to accompany the visuals, so we are always happy to drum up some original music if need be. We have years of experience in all corners of the music industry, so we’re also able to help you to produce great promotional material. That was today’s task: to lay down some tracks for a promotional montage of live footage. We’re also getting excited about audio branding and sonic logos at the moment – we’ll keep you posted on new developments in that...

Into the voice over studio

We’re preparing for some work in the voice over studio today, and it’s for a new tv show produced by an Australian sports brand. I’m reminded of previous adventures in voice over work, < and the fact that it can be a difficult thing to get right. We once did a recording for a What Car magazine review video and during the read-through, our voice over artist stopped to point out an error in the script. We were unable to identify the problem ourselves until we realised that whilst she was saying the first paragraph she was at the same time reading the paragraph ahead! She was a real professional and honing her craft for years seemed to have given her super powers.... on the other end of the scale we've had talented professional actors in to do similar jobs who simply haven't been able to deliver the goods because the two are completely different disciplines. Whilst many actors also make great voice over artists, a full time voice over professional will often have the edge because it is such a difficult job. Technology has made it easier in recent years for anyone to give voice over work a go. All you need to get started is a USB condenser mic and a cheap website - you can fill it with samples and away you go. However, video production companies should be aware that website samples don't always prove the quality - or indeed, versatility - of the artist, and the full extent of their talent will become quickly apparant when they are faced with an actual script and...
