Working as a video production company we love getting new gadgets to play with and finding new ways to progress our business. Today we were lucky enough to film an App with four young actors/actresses against our new White Vinyl Backdrop. This backdrop is a perfect tool for video production as it’s completely portable, allowing you to create your desired look anywhere you want, whether it be in a shopping centre, park or even your very own office. With an invisible curve in the sheet it portrays the illusion that it isn’t really a back drop but a pure background. Furthermore, with being white it creates a neutral effect allowing the filmmaker to portray their own artistic flare with the use of lighting. Lighting is extremely important when using a Vinyl Backdrop as if lit wrong you will emphasize any creases in the sheet and create ghastly light glares. With the shoot we did today we in fact used 7 different light sources to help avoid this issue. We were also lucky enough to have such great actors/actresses who really got into their roles and weren’t afraid of having a good laugh at themselves, even when stood under all those lights!
